Whether trying to putt past the obstacles at a miniature golf course, splashing through a bumper boat ride or racing go-carts, there's lots to do at Southern California's family fun centers. Many of them also offer batting cages, carnival rides or any combination of activities.

Los Angeles County

Fees: Miniature golf is $5.95 per person and free for those 5 and younger with a paying partner; bumper boats are $5.95 per ride; go-carts are $5.95 per ride; and batting cages are $1.50 for 50 pitches. A Fun Pak for $16 offers one round of golf, two rides, 12 tokens for the arcade or batting cages and one medium soft drink.

A parking fee of $5 is charged Fridays and Saturdays after 6 p.m. but is redeemable for park rides. Parking is free all other times.
